A Commemoration Program for July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day was Held at Alanya University
Alanya University once again kept alive the struggle for democracy and the spirit of national unity of our nation with the events organized within the scope of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
The commemoration program started with the opening of the Photography Exhibition with the theme "Traces of July 15th". In the exhibition, photographs reflecting the historical process that took place on the night of July 15, 2016 were exhibited.
Lecturer at Alanya University, Dr. The conference continued with the title "July 15, 2016 Coup Attempt: Historical Background, Process and Its Effects on Turkey's Political Life" organized by Özge Kurşun Ballmez. The program, which was held at the Central Campus Conference Hall of Alanya University, the historical background of the coup attempt, the process and its effects on Turkey's political life were discussed from an academic point of view.
Within the scope of the program, Alanya University Rector Prof. Dr. Turan Sağer also posted a message. Rector Sağer in his message;
"July 15 is a symbol of the resolute and honorable stance our nation has taken against the treacherous coup attempt targeting the unity and integrity of our country by protecting democracy and national will. "I commemorate our martyrs with mercy and our heroic veterans with gratitude and respect."" he stated.
